Ready for almost anything, the new Yamaha Ténéré 700 comes in a World Raid version. The recipe behind the new version of the already successful arrival model of Gerno di Lesmo is that assembled for a premium motorcycle for long distances, with excellent performance on and off-road, combined with versatility and a pleasant riding character. The third representative of the new Ténéré 700 family is equipped to go further than any previous Ténéré and with the most advanced specifications, including cutting-edge suspension, improved ergonomics and style inspired by rally adventure.
The Ténéré 700 World Raid is also Yamaha’s most extreme long-distance adventure bike, designed with an eye to ‘Adventure’ riders, notoriously intrepid characters, always looking for a new way to go. And if the first thought of every driver engaged in long-distance journeys is the availability of fuel, the new arrival in the Ténéré house is equipped with two tanks with a total capacity of 23 liters, side-mounted and designed to bring tranquility during longer journeys. and eliminating anxiety related to autonomy. Under typical conditions of use, it is estimated that the two tanks can offer a range of up to 500 km, with a higher range that makes the Ténéré 700 World Raid a true lady of the desert.
The design of the double tank has a number of advantages over a single tank, because, in addition to increasing its capacity, thanks to the two separate tanks positioned lower, the center of gravity of the bike is practically the same as the current Ténéré 700, (equipped with a 16-liter tank) ensuring agility and handling despite the weight increased by the fuel load. The mass of the vehicle is further centralized, with an ideal weight distribution between front and rear. Another advantage of the double tank is in the limitation of fuel fluctuations compared to a single tank, with benefits above all in the management of the bike when cornering.
Among the numerous innovations on the technical and technological front, there is also the new 5 “color TFT instrumentation, which is connected to the Communication Control Unit (CCU) of the motorcycle that speaks with the MyRide app, offering visibility on the central instrument panel of notifications messages and incoming calls, while the battery status of the mobile phone is always displayed as soon as the connection is created.
Access to the necessary information is essential on any long-distance journey and the Ténéré 700 World Raid riders can choose from 3 different themes on the new 5 “color TFT instrumentation. Deliveries to Yamaha dealers will begin in May 2022, at list price 12,599.00 ex-dealer
