Thanks to a new partnership, ASI and Lojack takes place together to ‘protect’ vintage cars from theft. LoJack Italia, a company specializing in telematic solutions for mobility and in the recovery of stolen vehicles, has in fact started the Scout Vintage project with the Automotoclub Storico Italiano, a system of protection in case of theft unique in the world, created by LoJack with the Collaboration of the Italian historic Automoclub and specially designed for historical vehicles.
Thanks to this agreement, LoJack offers passionate collectors a solution that combines radio frequency and GPS / GSM technologies to ensure peace of mind for vehicle owners, significantly increasing the chances of recovery in the event of theft.
Scout Vintage combines radio frequency and telematics technologies to achieve total protection against theft.
The sophisticated radiofrequency technology also exceeds physical barriers such as metal containers, reinforced concrete constructions, parking lots and underground garages, in which stolen vehicles are often hidden.
In a dormant state, the system is activated only when it is activated by the Lojack 24/7 operating center following a confirmation of theft, also guaranteeing the protection of privacy. The system also has a high resistance to connections carried out with electronic equipment that disturb the signal transmission, commonly called Jammer. In the event of theft, the owners will be able to count on a Team Security Lojack and a team of experts engaged in the territory in the research and recovery activities of stolen vehicles, alongside the forces of the Order.
