After microprocessors, which remain a problem for the automotive industry in general, now it is the electric cables that impact – with the lack of supplies – on the giant Volkswagen.
After announcing periods of closure of the factories dedicated to battery cars in Zwickau and Dresden, due to the crisis in Ukraine and the problems for the cable suppliers who are located in that country, now it is the turn of the ‘factory – armored’ of Volkswagen, that of Wolfsburg, which will have to reduce the activity from the week of March 6 and if there are no positive news, suspend it completely from March 14.
