Piaggio: revenues grow, profit ok (+ 28% compared to pre-Covid)

In 2021, the Piaggio group recorded consolidated revenues of 1,668 million, up by 27% (+ 28.1% at constant exchange rates) compared to the previous year and by 9.7% compared to the pre-pandemic 2019. Net profit is 60.1 million, almost doubled compared to 31.3 million in 2020, and up by 28.7% compared to 2019.
The net financial position was 380.3 million, an improvement of 43.3 million compared to 423.6 in 2020, and the Board proposes a dividend balance of 6.5 euro cents per share (total dividend for the year, down payment included, 15 cents per share). The group last year sold 536,000 vehicles, up 11% compared to 2020.
