On the occasion of the Mobile World Congress 2022, VinFast and Pininfarina illustrated the details of the interior and exterior design of the VF 8 and VF 9, the electric vehicles resulting from their collaboration. Both are slated to launch on the global market in mid-2022.
The design of the VinFast electric SUVs, born in collaboration with Pininfarina, intends to enhance the powerful and elegant appearance and the smarter and safer driving experience that these vehicles can offer. As for the exterior, Pininfarina has adopted a modern design language to optimize aerodynamics and reduce fuel consumption, while at the same time emphasizing the importance of aesthetics to underline the unique personality of the vehicles. They combine the curves typical of sports cars, the tapered lines of executive sedans with the height and characteristics of SUVs.
The interiors of the two models are the result of the combination of a high-end aesthetic level and meticulous and sophisticated cutting and sewing work, enriched by the integration of cutting-edge technologies to guarantee a technologically advanced and relaxing environment at the same time.
The seats are equipped with controls for heating and ventilation, guaranteeing absolute comfort. To further relieve the pressure induced by the frenzy of commuting to work, the VF 9 Plus even offers several massage functions.
The two models are equipped with a large 15.6-inch touchscreen in the center console that minimizes the number of physical buttons and thus simplifies the interface. With the intuitive support of the high-resolution screen, drivers and passengers can thus navigate and enjoy a complete driving experience on every journey. The full color spectrum head-up display (HUD) projects essential vehicle information onto the windscreen without the driver having to take their eyes off the road to focus on the instrument cluster.
