The update of the Quadrifoglio version of the Alfa Romeo Giulia scheduled for 2024 on the basis of what has been done for the Super, Sprint, Ti and Veloce trim levels should also lead to an improvement in performance. This aligns the output of the 2.9 V6 biturbo of the previous Quadrifoglio with that of the GTA and GTAm limited edition variants (which have now become cult models for collectors).
This was stated by the specialized magazine Carscoops which published a couple of images of a forklift of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 2024 being tested taken by the specialists of the Gabetz Spy Unit.
The optical masking is minimal and only serves to hide the presence of the new light clusters introduced with the latest Giulia and Stelvio, as well as the internal changes with the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel which – it should be remembered – also offers the Heritage configuration which mimics the look of the Giulia Anni ’60 analog gauges.
For the next Quadrifoglio version, the biggest novelty should be hidden by the bonnet, with the presence of the 540 HP variant – instead of 510 – of the GTA and GTAm variants of the powerful aluminum biturbo V6 standard in the Giulia Quadrifoglio. In any case – reports Carscoops – the torque (600 Nm) will continue to be transmitted to the ground through the rear wheels thanks to a specific version of the eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, with steering wheel paddles.
Overall, counting on the fact that the entire Giulia series has been improved in terms of general quality, according to Carscoops experts, the 2024 Quadrifoglio will represent an even more formidable rival for the corresponding high-performance sedans made in Germany.
