The President of the Province of Potenza, Christian Giordano, ordered today the reopening to transit of the stretch of road of the SP 146 “Marsico Nuovo- Lama – Sellata”, near the ski resorts of Abriola-Pierfaone (Potenza). The ordinance was issued as soon as the installation of the steel safety barriers on the edge of the bridge was completed and the stretch of road was asphalted so as to be able to guarantee the regular and safe transitability of the bridge, of which the deck was replaced. In recent weekends, the ban on transit had caused problems of public order and safety, given the enormous influx of snow tourists in the ski area, to the point of having the prefect of Potenza, Michele Campanaro, convene the provincial observatory for the public order and safety.
