Volkswagen has confirmed the appointment of next March 1 for the presentation of the new generation of the compact electric ID.3. He did so with a post on LinkedIn featuring some images, essentially dedicated to the high-tech rear lights.
“There is still much more to reveal – writes VW on the social network – but we have already drawn attention to the new external lighting features. Such as the LED rear lights together with the X-shaped daytime running lights”.
According to the British magazine Autocar, the ID.3 will also offer the latest generation of displays (with a 12-inch touch screen) and interior software for a smoother user experience and faster response times than the current sedan.
Volkswagen has ramped up the quality of the ID.3’s interior to cater for a wider audience, with solutions – such as the new push-button steering wheel controls – which will also be found on other future models. The teaser images reveal other minor exterior updates, including a new front bumper and vertical vents.
