“Ready to sign the petition against the ban on diesel and petrol engines by 2035”. This was stated by the president of Conftrasporto-Confcommercio Paolo Uggè, who in a note declares his support “for any initiative undertaken against the stop to heat engines decided by the EU, starting with the one scheduled for the weekend in various squares in Lazio and Lombardy”.
“The European ban on the production of petrol and diesel cars from 2035 is a masochistic choice for all of Europe – says Uggè – We will invite all our associates to sign up so that the issue of ecological transition is tackled taking into account both the principle of technological neutrality and of the economic activity of many companies, from production to transport”.
“We will not passively accept this ideological act, with no concrete result in favor of the environment – continues Uggè – If we want to definitively bury the national economy and put poor people in difficulty, this is the main road”.
