Ztl: Salvini and Locatelli write to Anci, join Cude

The Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini, and the Minister of Disabilities, Alessandra Locatelli, today signed a letter addressed to the president of Anci Antonio Decaro, following their meeting so that the Association can promote membership to the single national IT platform of the plates associated with the Unified Disabled European Mark (Cude). The aim is to facilitate the movement of people with disabilities, guaranteeing them the full right to mobility.

“Participation in the platform – explain Salvini and Locatelli – will produce tangible positive effects that will also concern the same Municipalities that will join it, with a simplification of the procedure normally necessary for access to restricted traffic areas and therefore also to parking spaces reserved for inside the limited traffic areas” In the letter they add: “it is a question of guaranteeing all people with disabilities to be able to circulate more easily throughout the territory and, in particular, for each Municipality to guarantee mobility by checking license plates through cameras and the exchange of data Adhesion to the platform by all Municipalities – they conclude – is fundamental and cannot wait any longer.

Together with Anci, we will therefore encourage the adhesion of the Municipalities and the right of the most fragile citizens to be able to move freely and taking advantage of the same right in a homogeneous way throughout the territory”.
