In the last month, 7 calls for tenders were published in the Official Gazette in February, for a total of over 1.4 billion euros throughout the country, which add up to the 1.7 billion euros of the 25 calls published in the course of the month of December. As a note explains, these are interventions to strengthen the network also through new technologies with a view to increasingly raising safety standards, improving efficiency and driving comfort. Here are the works in detail. In Piedmont and Liguria the works concern the first two sections of the works of the Piedmontese Pedemontana for the connection between the A4 (Turin – Milan), in the section falling along the towns of Santhià, Biella and Gattinara, and the A26 (Genoa Voltri – Gravellona), in Ghemme, for a total amount of 302.8 million euros. In Lazio there is a tender relating to the works to connect the port of Civitavecchia with the intermodal node of Orte – Monte Romano East – Civitavecchia (first phase Monte Romano East and West) for a total of 285.2 million euros.
In Puglia, the works relating to the Anas tenders concern the third lot of recurring scheduled maintenance interventions for the purpose of functional recovery of the SS673 “West Ring Road of Foggia” in Puglia (joining SS16 “Adriatica” Foggia Cerignola section), for an amount of 37.066 million euros, which are added to the 56.4 million euros of the first two lots announced in December 2022; another call for tender concerns the upgrading of the route along the “Adriatica” state road 16 in the section between San Severo and Foggia in Puglia, for a total amount of approximately 139 million euro; finally, again in Puglia, another tender relates to the works of the SS89 “Garganica” road, aimed at rationalizing the road network of San Giovanni Rotondo and its connection with the city of Manfredonia (first section Manfredonia – Amendola military airport) in Puglia, for a total of 135.19 million euros. In Calabria there are construction works on the variant of the state road 182 “Delle Serre Calabre” (single lot Vazzano – Vallelonga) in Calabria, for a total of 210.6 million euros.
In Sicily, the works to complete the Gela ring road in Sicily, for a total of approximately 304.4 million euros.
