Yamaha Téneré 700 also becomes Extreme and Explore

Two new versions for the Yamaha Téneré 700 that takes the field in Extreme and Explore Edition format. Powered by the 690 cc Yamaha CP2 engine and with a range that has recently been enriched by the model, World Raid. La Téneré further expands the family with the introduction of two new models.
Designed for easy and intuitive off-road riding in rough terrain, the Ténéré 700 Extreme Edition features high-quality, fully adjustable KYB suspension with +20 mm of travel, as well as Kashima coating on the fork legs. Ténéré 700 Extreme Edition is fully adjustable in terms of compression and rebound damping and preload, to adapt the riding style to any terrain, the ideal choice for riders who want superior performance in the most demanding off-road conditions.
The Ténéré 700 Explore Edition, with a saddle height of just 860 mm, is instead designed with a particular eye on comfort, even in adventure.
The KYB suspension has been modified by reducing wheel travel by 20 mm to reduce seat height, improve ergonomics and provide more control at low speeds.
The spring response of the front and rear suspension has been slightly increased for an even safer ride under full load.
The Ténéré 700 Explore Edition’s windshield is taller and wider than the standard one and offers 50% more surface area. The side bag supports are standard, so you can easily fit the original Yamaha hard or soft bags (to be purchased separately).
Ténéré 700 Extreme Edition and Ténéré 700 Explore Edition, in the Icon Blue and Tech Kamo colors. They will only be available in France, Italy and Germany through the Yamaha dealer network from April. Ténéré 700 Extreme Edition will have a list price of 11,899 euros, while Ténéré 700 Explore Edition of 11,799 euros.
