Renault has renewed its offer in the SUV category with the New Renault Austral. The novelty of the French house took the field as one of the pillars of the reconquest of the C segment, the heart of the world car market.
The path for which the New Austral was designed is the one that continues the offensive already started by the brand with Arkana and New Mégane E-Tech Electric in the specific segment, following tradition but with an absolutely modern approach, that of the Nuovelle Vague signed Renault which aims to make the brand a point of reference in terms of technology, energy and services.
New Renault Austral is in fact fully included in the strategic plan referred to as Renaulution. Its name, which refers to distant lands and wide spaces, is faithful to the DNA of the brand and boasts an athletic and technological exterior design with all the characteristic codes of SUVs.
The high-tech and refined interiors of New Austral focus on comfort and wink at models that have made Renault history. The pride of the welcoming passenger compartment is the OpenR display which shows on-board data, as well as navigation and multimedia data, integrating the best services and applications from Google. The two large 12” displays, to which is added a 9.3” head-up display, offer a total surface area of approximately 1,000 cm2 for an intuitive, immersive and connected driving experience. In terms of driving assistance, New Austral can count on 32 Adas devices, Multi-Sense mode and Control Advanced, the latest four-wheel steering system developed by Renault.
Austral is also the first Renault car designed on the third generation Cmf-Cd platform and offers an unprecedented version of the E-Tech Full Hybrid system, powerful and more efficient, as well as two 48V and 12V Mild Hybrid petrol engines.
