Production of the new Ducati Scrambler has begun

Production of the new Ducati Scrambler has officially begun. In fact, the protagonist of the seventh episode of the Ducati World Premiere 2023 has begun to take shape on the production lines at the Borgo Panigale plant.
The result of the new production will be a Scrambler with completely new lines and concepts, which however maintains the original spirit of the model, already a worldwide success with over 100,000 enthusiasts. Ducati’s goal is to obtain a dynamic, accessible and safe motorcycle for daily use, with a new captivating and modern design.
The production of the first model was celebrated in the new Finishing and Aesthetic Resolution building with an event in perfect Scrambler style. After the traditional ‘baptism’ by CEO Claudio Domenicali, the ceremony turned into a party animated by music in which all employees were able to preview all nine colors of the new Scrambler.
The customization possibilities, which have always been a distinctive element of the Scrambler, are pushed even further with this second generation thanks to the new Icon tank.
The colored portion is a cover that can be easily replaced, as can the fenders, rim tags and headlamp covers.
The three basic colors (’62 Yellow, Thrilling Black and Ducati Red) are joined by six more (Storm Green, Rio Celeste, Tangerine Orange, Jade Green, Sparkling Blue, Velvet Red), available as accessory kits, to dress up the new Scrambler Icon of nine different liveries.
Thanks to a weight reduced by no less than 4 kg, the new Ride-by-Wire and the accessory Quick Shift, the Scrambler offers a more lively ride. It’s safer, more modern, digital and technological thanks to the Riding Modes, Ducati Traction Control and the color TFT dashboard.
The heart of the new Scrambler is the air-cooled twin-cylinder Desmodue engine with trellis frame, while the wide handlebar and low center of gravity are designed to ensure that riding fun that remains an essential feature for the new generation as well.
