Adventure tourism with the Suzuki V-Strom 800De

The adventure for Suzuki is also called V-Strom 800De. If since the launch of the original V-Strom 1000 in 2002, Suzuki’s adventure touring series has continued to evolve in the various displacements, the newcomer from the Japanese company is now ready to break new ground.

For the development of the new V-Sstrom 800De and in response to the requests of riders with different levels of experience, Suzuki engineers have developed the ideal package, with engine, bodywork, features and specifications suitable for riding on asphalt and dirt roads.
The result represents a major leap forward for Suzuki’s two-wheeler, represented by the model equipped with Suzuki’s all-new 776 cm3 DOHC 4-valve-per-cylinder parallel-twin engine, a robust new frame, wider suspension travel and more higher ground clearance than any V-Strom model to date.
Every aspect of the project is aimed at offering a satisfying experience to riders who want more power than the 650 cm3 class can offer and who want a greater possibility to explore unpaved surfaces comfortably and safely.
The frame and the new engine have been designed to allow riders to exploit the bike’s full potential and enjoy a riding experience in complete safety and comfort.
The electronics are also dedicated, with the Suzuki Traction Control System offering a specific additional function for off-road use. In this case, the ABS intervention threshold can be adjusted on two levels and can be deactivated on the rear wheel for off-road driving.
The vocation for travel is underlined by the presence of a three-position adjustable windscreen and a generously sized saddle. The Suzuki V-Strom 800 De is offered at 11,500 euros and in three liveries, Petra Yellow, Berlin Gray and Dubai Black. The complete equipment includes a luggage rack, hand guards, a protective grille for the radiator and the lower engine belly pan.
