Alpine will be at Pikes Peak with the A110 GT4 Evo

Alpine is throwing down the gauntlet to the ultimate hill climb: the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, which has been run in the Rocky Mountains since 1916.
He will tackle the course with an A110 GT4 Evo, managed by the Alpine and Signatech teams, on Sunday 25 June.
It is a car that has undergone lengthy development work, with impressive aerodynamic appendages and a revised engine to face a difficult and demanding climb for the mechanics. To underline the link with the production model, the car remained with two-wheel drive. Leading it along the 19.93km course with 156 bends, which starts at an altitude of 2,865 meters and ends some 1,440 meters higher up, will be Raphaël Astier, winner of the 2022 FIA R-GT Cup at the wheel of the Alpine A110 Rally, and with four Pikes Peak assets.
He set the record in his class, Time Attack 1, in his third run, with a time of 9:23.721s.
