Wiesmann restarts with limited series Ev Project Thunderball

The Project Thunderball of the German manufacturer Wiesmann Auto-Sport, which operated between 1985 and 2014, is not only a strong signal of the will to return to the market with the characteristic retro-looking sports cars after the financial difficulties and the closure of about ten years ago.
The Project Thunderball is in fact completely electric and represents the entrance into a new era for the company from Dülmen in Westphalia.
But remaining faithful to the ‘timeless’ design and craftsmanship, Wiesmann tries to explore the possibilities of even smaller series – in limited editions – and with a consistently high price (about 300,000 euros).

Created in collaboration with Studiokurbos, Project Thunderball comes in three variants Concept One, Two and Three each inspired by exclusive themes and settings. This is the case of the “memories of the feeling of the warm sun on your face, the wind in your hair and the view of the sparkling waters of the Côte d’Azur stretching to the horizon” for Concept One.
But also of the opulence and optimism of the 1920s which are the inspiration behind the limited edition Concept Two. An exterior finished in a bold gold hue, with a matching grille, contrasts with a deep burgundy leather interior with hints of soft-touch matte velor detailing.

And finally the black Concept Three “like a stealthy shadow gliding silently into view” and is Inspired by the heroes of darkness, Finished in matte black, beautifully highlighted with high-gloss black detailing, it proposes an interior that enhances the vehicle’s power with leather matt black in contrast with anodized details and edges in glossy carbon fiber.
Already pre-sold for the entire first year of production, the Wiesmann Project Thunderballs should start being delivered in 2024.
