Rod Stewart’s Lambo Countach ‘Anniversary’ for sale

A Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary with a rock n’roll past is about to be auctioned. The specimen, one of about 658, was made in 1988 to be purchased shortly after by an icon of rock notes such as Rod Stewart, who has always been a fan of the Sant’Agata Bolognese brand.
The specific model is the one made at the time to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the car manufacturer in 1988, in Countach sauce but with a style reworked for the occasion by Horacio Pagani. The 25th Anniversary then remained in production until 1990, when it was replaced by the new Lamborghini Diablo.
The voice of songs like ‘Da ya think I’m sexy’, ‘I don’t want to talk about it’ and many other hits, owned the Countach in the nineties, precisely from 1990 to 1995.
Stewart has also owned other Lamborghinis over the years, including several Miuras and at least one other Countach.
Given its famous former owner and the fact that the car has only covered 12,000 km, it is probable that many collectors will be attracted by the sale, entrusted to Bring a Trailer of Miami Beach, Florida, which will also provide the lucky buyer with a copy of the previous title deed owned by Rod Stewart.
