The European homologation ecwvta, acronym of European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval, arrives for the Volta zero, totally electric 16-ton trucks, by Volta Trucks.
The company, engaged in the production of all-electric vehicles and in the provision of services, has reached another important milestone in its journey towards producing trucks for customers.
This certification, in fact, allows the company to mass produce and sell the vehicles in question, since it guarantees compliance with rigorous environmental and safety standards.
Second generation production verification prototypes will also be delivered shortly to customers throughout Europe.
It is a pilot fleet supplied to customers for extended periods to enable fleet operators to understand how the all-electric medium tonnage truck will integrate into their businesses.
