The Suzuki V-Strom 800De arrives in dealerships

During this month of March, the Suzuki innovations are arriving rapidly at the official dealer network and after the debut of the V-Strom 1050 MY23 and V-Strom 650 Explorer range in the showrooms, it is now the turn of the V-Strom 800De.
The specific model plays a key role for Suzuki, because on the one hand it places itself at the center of the sport enduro tourer family, slotting between the V-Strom 650 and the new arrivals V-Strom 1050 and V-Strom 1050De, from another because it marks the market entry of a new platform, also shared with the Gsx-8s, a street fighter also expected on the road in a short time.
The V-Strom 800De also has the task of evolving the style of its ancestors, revisiting the typical front end and combining it with new superstructures. The LED headlights create a strong link with the other more recent Suzuki innovations and are surmounted by a three-position adjustable windscreen. Behind it are a multifunctional color Tft Lcd display and a large handlebar with a variable section.
The sturdy steel tube frame is paired with fully adjustable Hitachi Astemo (Showa) long-travel suspension.
The preload of the single shock absorber can be adjusted without any tools, by acting on a knob located on the right side of the bike.
Powering the V-Strom 800De is a new 776 cc parallel twin-cylinder engine, with the patented Suzuki Cross Balancer system, which is very effective in reducing vibrations. The maximum power and torque are in the order of 84.3 HP and 78 Nm, while the average distance is 22.7 km/litre according to Wmtc standards.
Thanks to the 20-litre tank, the theoretical range exceeds 450 km.
The Suzuki V-Strom 800De is sold for 11,500 Euros and the customer can choose between three colors, namely Yellow Petra which pays homage to the Dr-Z range used in desert races and the multiple victorious Suzuki cross bikes, as well as the Berlin Gray livery.
