The Milano-Sanremo Cup for vintage cars is back

There are just a few days left before the start of the 14th edition of the historical re-enactment of the Coppa Milano – Sanremo, scheduled from 23 to 26 March 2023. The event is once again the protagonist of the ACI Sport 2023 Italian Great Events Championship. Numerous new features, first of all the route that will see Milan as the starting and finishing point and an increase in the route to over 900 km, most of which in Liguria. Yesterday’s racing cars will compete in 113 special stages, with over 50% to be tackled on the Ligurian course. After the traditional departure from the Monza racetrack on Thursday 23 March, where technical and sporting checks will be held and then the official opening in heart of Milan, while on Friday 24 March the crews will cross the towns of Monferrato, towards the Ligurian territory. The second day of competition will end in Sanremo with the traditional défilé which will wind along the streets of the city centre. On Saturday 25 March the crews will leave Sanremo once again facing the Colle d’Oggia and then passing through the medieval village of Zuccarello, up to the sea at the setting of the Marina di Loano Yacht Club. In the afternoon, passing through Colle del Melogno and Pontinvrea, we will reach the heart of Genoa, the final destination of the day. Sunday 26 March the race will restart from Piazza De Ferrari in the center of Genoa where there will be a brief presentation of the cars to the public, then the vehicles will face the ascent of Monte Fasce up to Uscio, they will cross the territories of the Portello pass and the Ligurian Mongiardino and they will then arrive in Milan, where after arriving in the heart of the historic centre, the final award ceremony will be held at the AC Milano headquarters in Corso Venezia.
