Nokian Tires presented the second generation of the Snowproof, a winter tire suitable for both cars and SUVs. Available right from its launch in 150 sizes, for wheels ranging from 15 to 21 inches, the new product from the Finnish manufacturer promises improved performance in colder climates and in particular with snow and heavy rain. Situations, therefore, found in the coldest season of the year in the Scandinavian countries but also in Central Europe, in Northern Italy and along the Apennine ridge.
The new Snowproof family is made up of four tire models, all featuring silent drive technology which ensures low rolling noise values and, therefore, increased comfort compared to the replaced model. The Snowproof 2 cars and SUVs will be offered in the price list together with the previous Snowproof WRs, updated in content and renamed Snowproof 1. The fourth 2023 line is represented by high and very high performance tyres, distinguished as Snowproof P.
It should be noted that the new range includes speed ratings T (190 km/h), H (210 km/h), V (240 km/h) and W (270 km/h). Most products are marked as XL to ensure the highest possible load capacity in relation to their size.
