Smart Dash is Scania’s new digital dashboard

Smart Dash is the name of the new digital dashboard introduced by Scania which allows access to new functions. Based on a modular electronic architecture that supports a series of new functions and which significantly increases safety standards, Smart Dash has a new interface of digital solutions which, in addition to supporting new services, also allows you to improve safety and the driving experience .
Smart Dash also offers digital support for drivers and operators by integrating services such as My Scania and Scania Driver App, with a new electronic architecture compliant with the General Safety Regulation and cybersecurity standards, as well as remote software updates by exploiting the speed of the 5G connection. The driver-vehicle interface has also been improved to increase concentration and minimize distractions.

What our customers will experience when using vehicles equipped with the new Smart Dash is tangible proof of the importance and attention Scania attaches to digitalisation, connectivity and safety.The new digital dashboard will enable an extraordinary driving experience by connecting Scania vehicles and greatly increasing the integration of all our new services digital”.
The instrument is available in different configurations thus allowing the customer to choose the one that best suits his needs. Each version of the Smart Dash has a customizable interface to allow you to maximize the accessibility and integration of digital services offered such as My Scania or the Scania Driver App.
The new Smart Dash will then make it possible to have digital maps saved in the cloud that are always up to date and without having to update them at the assistance network. The Smart Dash will replace current Scania solutions and can already be ordered now for vehicles manufactured in early 2024.
