For New Espace technology at the service of comfort

The new generation of Renault Espace focuses on technology for maximum comfort on board. Depending on the marketing countries, the New Espace dashboard is enhanced by the OpenR system made up of two displays held together in an L shape, i.e. a 321 cm2 and 12.3″ horizontal Tft display (1920 x 720 pixels) and a 453 cm2 12″ vertical touchscreen (1250 x 1562 pixels).
With the 9.3″ Head-up Display, the total surface area of ​​the New Espace screens reaches approximately 1,000 cm2, or the equivalent of three touchscreen tablets. This feature allows you to fully enjoy the interactive experience of the OpenR Link multimedia system .
For charging mobile devices, each row of seats is equipped with two USB-C sockets as well as an induction charger and two 12V sockets, one for the front seat passengers and the other in the trunk. To make the passenger compartment more pleasant, the New Espace also offers many customization options.
The Multi-Sense settings, which can be activated via the touchscreen or from the direct access button located on the steering wheel, allow you to choose between four types of display, five widgets (applications or interactive icons) and eight colors to illuminate the instrument display. They also allow you to change the “Living Lights” ambient lighting made up of LED light beams on the dashboard and door panels with a choice of 48 colours.
For a premium sound, on the other hand, the Harman Kardon hi-fi system was provided, available according to the versions, consisting of 12 loudspeakers (a central front speaker, 2 tweeters and 2 woofers at the front and rear, 2 rear surround speakers and a subwoofer in the trunk). For music lovers, an immersive sound experience is available with a choice of five programmes: Studio, Concert, Immersion, Lounge and Club.
