UnipolSai and the subsidiary UnipolRental have signed a framework agreement with Bper and its subsidiary Società italiana flotte aziendali (Sifà), aimed at implementing an industrial project in the long-term rental sector, to be implemented also through the merger by incorporation of Sifà into UnipolRental. The agreement is aimed at a twenty-year commercial collaboration for the offer, through the branches and other commercial channels of Bper, of long-term rental products and services offered by UnipolRental, which thus consolidates itself as the leading Italian operator in the sector long-term rental thanks to a fleet of 130,000 vehicles and over 40,000 new registrations in 2023. As a result of the merger, which is expected to take effect in the second half of 2023, UnipolSai will hold an 80.013% stake in UnipolRental, while Bper will the remaining 19.987%.
