Citroën Gëneration Ami also focuses on sport

From schools to sports clubs, the educational activity on electric mobility and environmental sustainability signed by Citroën Gëneration Ami is starting again. In the face of the success of the Educational campaign in schools, ‘GënerationAMI’ broadens its horizons and in 2023 continues its educational path transforming itself into ‘GënerationAMI, electric mobility for sport’, maintaining the two ministerial patronages and adding the collaboration with the National Basketball League. Through the sponsorship of 20 sports clubs, the educational campaign enters gyms and sports halls and meets young men and women athletes. Sports clubs of different sports are involved, including football, volleyball, basketball, judo, rugby and tennis. The format of the project remains unchanged compared to the editions aimed at schools.

Over 11,500 athletes will also receive the digital kit to learn more about electric urban mobility with zero emissions to the benefit of the environment, public health and driving comfort. Inside the kit there is a final questionnaire, thanks to which the students will be able to test that they have learned the contents of the project and receive a certificate of participation at the end of the compilation which allows them to receive training credits, in agreement with the school . As for the edition reserved for schools, this questionnaire also allows participants to participate in the GënerationAMI prize competition which gives away, for a winner drawn from all the participants, a free 6-month loan for use of Citroën Ami and for the reference sports club a 500 euro voucher for the purchase of useful material for the gym.

The approximately 2,000 kids from the sports clubs involved wear Citroën branded uniforms and the playing fields are set up with banners and flags of the initiative. The sports clubs and Citroën Italia thus become promoters of the growth and awareness of the new generations. The parking lot of the various sports halls, on the occasion of the training sessions, will be enriched and colored by the large inflatable gazebo, by a fun photo point with the hashtag #gënerationAMI and by a path created ad hoc to test yourself aboard the Citroën Ami.
