Lexus LC MY 2024: technical and technological refinements

The Lexus LC MY 2024 presents changes both in terms of aesthetics, with the new Heat Blue Contrast and Sonic Cooper colors, and in terms of technology and mechanics. In fact, the infotainment system goes from the previous 10-inch size to the current 12.3-inch size, becomes touch-sensitive, whereas before it was managed via the touchpad, for this reason it has been brought closer to the driver by 86 mm, and also responds to several voice commands via the on-board assistant invoked with the phrase “Hey Lexus”. There is also compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for a complete connection with the smartphone.
Under the skin, the interventions concerned the set-up, through a revised calibration, as well as the engine mounts were revisited, while the 10-speed automatic transmission was optimized to be faster. The versions equipped with the V8 gain the Expert mode, which allows traction control to be deactivated, while those with the hybrid power unit can count on a lithium-ion battery with larger capacity cells, for greater responsiveness to command of the accelerator. Driving aids also improve, with automatic emergency braking that recognizes cyclists during the day, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, which automatically adjusts the car’s speed according to the radius of the curve through Curve Speed ​​Reduction.
The Ultimate Edition special series, powered by the 478 HP V8, aesthetically exploits the contrast between the white Hakugin livery and the black details, and in the coupé variant it also sports the carbon fiber rear spoiler, while inside it has the identification plate with the serial number of the car.
