A camera placed on a Tesla filmed the theft of a safe and allowed the carabinieri to trace the three perpetrators, who were arrested.
It happened in Dalmine, in the province of Bergamo, where the three – aged 20, 27 and 37 – around 11pm last Sunday had carried out a robbery in a clothing store: having forced the door, they had safe with 7,500 euros inside, loaded into a car. A scene captured by the camera of the Tesla parked nearby and whose owner, a Romanian who was stationary at the wheel and who witnessed the scene, handed over to the carabinieri of Treviglio.
The three alleged authors of the theft and the safe were thus traced to a caravan in Brembate. All born in Italy and homeless, were arrested.
