Dacia, record sales and shares in Europe in the first quarter

Strong growth in Europe for Dacia in the first quarter both due to the market trend and the success of the various models, first of all the Sandero which recorded a total of 171,789 units between January and March with a growth of 34.3%.
Record growth also for the market share given that in its marketing perimeter, Dacia registrations have increased the market share in Europe (passenger cars) to 4.6%, with an increase of 0.8 points, the highest growth among the Top 30 brands.
Sandero totaled 68,318 units, an increase of 26.1% compared to the same period last year, reconfirming itself in first place among the models sold to individuals in Europe.
With 57,660 units registered, Duster grew by 23.9% compared to the first quarter of 2022 and maintains its position on the podium in the SUV segment in Europe, while Jogger, with 23,330 sales in the first quarter, exceeds the threshold of 80,000 units since launch.
Excellent performance also for Dacia Spring which continues its dynamics with 14,494 units sold and reconfirms its place on the podium of electric models registered by private individuals in Europe.

Our recent developments, especially with the launch of the new brand identity on our models and in the sales network, the expansion of the electrified offer as well as the addition of the Extreme trim level, much appreciated by customers, allow us to continue our dynamics at very high levels”.
In France, Dacia’s main market, 38,938 units were registered in the first quarter, an increase of 32.6% compared to 2022. This result translates into a growth in market share of 1.2 points, which reaches 7 .6% (passenger cars + commercial vehicles). It is a new record in terms of volumes and market share for Dacia, which reconfirms its third place on the podium for private sales in all channels in France. Four Dacia models are in the Top 10 of private sales: Sandero in the lead, Spring in 4th place (the best-selling electric vehicle), Duster in 5th place and Jogger in 10th place.
29.7% increase in Dacia sales in Italy which reached 25,142 units in the first three months, with a market share of 5.3%, (passenger cars + commercial vehicles) up 0.2 points. In the car market, with 24,556 registrations, Dacia ranks 4th, with an increase of 27.9% compared to the same period of 2022 and a market share of 5.8%.
Even better performances in the Italian private car market, where Dacia develops over 90% of its sales.
It is positioned, for the first time in three consecutive months, as the best-selling brand to private individuals with 22,742 registrations and records a growth of 24.7%. The market share is now 9.6%.
In the private car market, Sandero and Duster are first and third among foreign cars.
