The Tuscany Region allocates 1.5 million for the road network

The co-financing granted by the Region to 31 Municipalities of nine of the ten provinces of Tuscany amounts to 1.5 million euros. This is what is foreseen in a resolution approved by the Regional Council on the proposal of the Councilor for Infrastructures and Mobility, Stefano Baccelli. “They will be used – specifies the councilor – to co-finance, up to a maximum of 80% of the total cost of the works, extraordinary maintenance interventions for the restoration of some municipal public roads. There are three criteria that inspired this provision: that of the co-financing, i.e. the support from the Region to those who have presented projects while still having a share to assign to the intervention, that of allocating the available funds to the administrations that last year we had not been able to finance, finally what led to favoring smaller local administrations, which are those with more limited budgets and which are often forced to postpone interventions, even necessary ones, due to lack of funds. In this way we think we have managed to give them decisive help” . These are nine municipalities in the province of Lucca (Careggine, Fosciandora, Fabbriche di Vergemoli, Molazzana, Minucciano, Pescaglia, Gallicano, Sillano Giuncugnano and Villa Collemandina) to which a total of 450,000 euros is allocated, i.e. 50,000 euros each. In second place for the number of Municipalities financed is the province of Arezzo with six Municipalities (Montemignaio, Chitignano, Talla, Castel Focognano, Lucignano and Sestino) which receive a total of 280 thousand euros: 40 thousand each in Chitignano and Talla and 50 thousand each to all the others. Four Municipalities in the province of Pisa have obtained funding for a total of 189,700 euros: 50,000 each in Montecatini Val di Cecina and Castelnuovo Val di Cecina, 49,700 in Fauglia and 40,000 in Chianni. Also in the province of Massa Carrara there are four municipalities that obtain co-financing for a total of 193,200 euros. Thus 50,000 euros each go to Bagnone, Tresana and Filattiera, while the co-financing quota that goes to Comano is 43,200 euros. There are three Sienese municipalities that are beneficiaries. These are Radicofani who will have 49,600 euros, Buonconvento with 50,000 and Sarteano with the same amount. There are two municipalities in Grosseto that will each receive 50,000 euros. These are Roccalbegna and Monterotondo Marittimo. In the province of Pistoia, the mountain municipality of Sambuca Pistoiese obtained a contribution of 37,400 euros. Another mountain municipality, that of Palazzuolo sul Senio, located in the territory of the metropolitan city of Florence, goes 50 thousand euros. In the province of Livorno, the Elba municipality of Porto Azzurro will receive 50,000 euros.
