Traveling on two wheels with Garmin zūmo Xt2

The latest addition to Garmin’s series of motorcycle satellite navigators is called the zūmo XT2. Featuring a large 6″ display that can also be used with gloves, the device is equipped with backlighting and designed to offer the motorcyclist a clear view of the map.
Designed to withstand the most extreme weather conditions and rough terrain, the navigator has been developed with an IPX7 waterproof rating and is equipped to work with handlebar vibrations, unlike most mobile phones.
For riders who enjoy traveling in groups, the Group Ride Mobile feature allows you to track the location of your fellow riders via the Tread app or use the Group Ride Tracker accessory (sold separately) to track them when cellular coverage isn’t available .

Among the specific functions for two wheels, the zūmo XT2 satellite navigator offers visual route planning to integrate itineraries with the same maps and preferences on both the zūmo XT2 device and the Tread app for smartphones.
New places to explore can be found with Michelin Scenic Roads and the Michelin Green Guide, while other bikers’ favorite routes can be used with high-resolution, subscription-free Birdseye Direct satellite imagery to discover new routes ahead.
Thanks to Garmin Adventurous Routing, however, it is possible to customize the trip based on the level of skill with different difficulty options. Important run details, including speed, acceleration, deceleration, altitude and more, are then at your fingertips via the Tread smartphone app.
Already available, Garmin zūmo Xt2 has a sale price of 599.99 euros.
