Wec: one-two Toyota and Ferrari on the podium at Spa

In the third round of the WEC, at Spa-Francorchamps, it was once again Toyota that won the race.
In fact, the 6 Hours was won by the Japanese Hypercar, precisely by the number 7, that of Conway, Kobayashi and Lopez, while the number 8, which won at Portimao, driven by Buemi, Hartley and Hirakawa, finished second. Behind the two Toyotas we find, once again, a Ferrari on the podium, specifically the number 51, in which PierGuidi, Calado and Giovinazzi took turns at the wheel. The third place of the Cavallino Hypercar, the 499P, has even more value, given that it came with a last lap overtaking on the Porsche 963 of Cameron, Christensen, and Makowiechi. Behind the Porsche, in fifth place, was the Cadillac number 2, while the other was left out of the competition, when it was third, due to a risky accident, but without consequences for the driver Van der Zande, at Eau Rouge. The Porsche customers of the Hertz team Jota finished in sixth position, making a good debut, with the second official 963 which, on the other hand, was forced to retire due to technical problems.
The number 50 Ferrari also ended the race early, with Fuoco having an accident when rejoining the track after a pit stop, due to the tires not yet being at optimal temperature. Respectively, in fourteenth and seventeenth place overall, the two Peugeot 9X8s.
In the LMP2 class, the WRT team won with car number 41 of Andrade, Kubica and Deltraz, ahead of the number 23 of the United Autosports team, and the number 34 of the Inter Europol Competition. Historic victory for Wadoux in the GTE-Am Class with the Ferrari 488 number 83 shared with Rovera and Companc of the Richard Mille AF Corse team.
