Generation Z sustainable mobility culture with Aci in Trani

The Bari Bat Automobile Club has created a pilot event entitled “The culture of sustainable mobility in generation Z”, designed to promote road safety education, safe driving and sustainability.

The initiative, under the patronage of the Municipality of Trani, in collaboration with the president of the InsightPR cultural association, Luisa Colonna and the municipal police of Trani, is intended for high school students from Trani. The event enjoys the patronage of the Provincial Educational Pact, promoted by the Prefecture of Barletta Andria Trani and by the Dioceses of the area.

Beginning on May 10, at the Municipal Library of Trani, the event will involve the students of the Ipsia School and those of the Iiss Aldo Moro. On this day, the director of Automobile Club Bari Bat, Maria Grazia De Renzo, will introduce the theme, Professor Elisabetta Venezia of the Traffic and Circulation Commission Automobile Club Bari Bat, who will talk about sustainable mobility and road safety and the trainer Elisabetta Ranieri who he will explain the new technologies and the appropriate driving styles. At the end of the speeches, students will be asked to carry out simulations and practical tests. On May 11, the students of the “V. Vecchi” Liceo Scientifico will be protagonists.

“A general rehearsal of the initiatives that we will carry out on the Bat territory in order to stop the deaths of young people on our roads. We wanted to start the world road safety week, as the start of a path of change of which we want to be the spokesperson”, declares the president of the Automobile Club Bari, Francesco Ranieri. The Prefect of Barletta Andria Trani Rossana Riflesso stated that they are “proud to be able to include, among the initiatives envisaged within the Provincial Educational Pact, this project promoted by ACI which aims to raise awareness among the young generations regarding particularly important issues such as culture of sustainable mobility and road safety education”.
