The Municipality of Frosinone concluded today the first part of the Before Driving project, created to prevent and combat road accidents caused by the use of alcohol and drugs. It was carried out by the staff of the local police in collaboration with the ASL of Frosinone.
As part of the project, training courses were held for students from local high schools, subsequently the focus shifted to middle school girls and boys. Through games and short lessons, the fundamental principles regarding the safety of two-wheeled vehicles were explained to the young people of the Quarto Comprensivo “Campo Coni” and the Primo Comprensivo “Aldo Moro”.
“Before Driving treats the theme of accident prevention in a new way, training young people in such a way as to make them protagonists and not mere recipients of the campaign – declared the mayor of Frosinone, Riccardo Mastrangeli -.
In doing so, the Municipality of Frosinone intends to promote healthy lifestyles, developing the critical awareness of the youngest on the enormous risks of dangerous conduct for themselves and for others”. For the mayor, it should be considered that many of the recipients of the courses will soon the age to attain fitness to drive motorcycles.
