Following the attribution of the position of CEO for the United States to Scott Runner, the software subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group Cariad has appointed Peter Bosch as new CEO effective June 1st.
Formerly Bentley’s head of production and Volkswagen AG’s representative on the board of Scout Motors, Bosch will lead Cariad’s development with the support of software experts and a transformation team made up of experienced Volkswagen Group managers. Bosch is an experienced Volkswagen manager, having held various other positions within the Group, including roles within the Volkswagen brand.
Within Cariad, Bosch will also assume responsibility for finance, purchasing and IT. Going forward, the new CEO will be joined on the board by two software experts. Cariad will announce these appointments shortly.
