The data recorded daily by the Guarantor’s observatory for price surveillance confirms in the last three weeks, from 17 April to 7 May, a drop in petrol and diesel pump prices also due to the easing of international oil and refined product prices . The Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy made it known in a note, underlining that in the first week of May the average price of petrol was 1.828 euros per liter compared to 1.880 euros three weeks earlier (10-17 April) with a reduction of 5.2 cents per litre. A similar trend – underlines the note – is the case for the price of diesel. During the first week of May, the average weekly price was 1.675 euros compared to 1.759 euros per liter three weeks earlier, with a reduction of 8.4 cents.
In parallel with the monitoring of the Guarantor for price surveillance, the path for the reorganization of the fuel sector continues in the ministry. In recent weeks, the contributions provided by the associations of the supply chain have been developed and by May the table will be convened again with all the representatives of the sector.
