Everything is ready for the curtain to rise on the new ‘small’ electric car from Volvo. The Swedish car manufacturer has in fact announced that on June 7 it will unveil the new Volvo Ex30 SUV with exclusively electric traction. Starting from the same date, it will also be possible to place an order or pre-order for the new model in some selected markets.
The smallest representative of Volvo’s growing range of electric SUVs was first announced in November 2022, on the occasion of the arrival of the flagship Ex90.
From the ‘older brother’, the newcomer could inherit several style details, even if the Ex30 promises a sportier nature and in line with the offers of its competitors.
The Volvo Ex30 is expected to be based on a compact version of Geely’s modular SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform, which already supports compact SUVs. Probably also offering a choice between single and dual electric motors, along with batteries of different capacities.
