Renault Group again at the ChangeNow Summit in Paris

After the participation in 2022, with CEO Luca de Meo also present, the Renault Group will also be present at this year’s 2nd edition of the ChangeNow Summit which takes place at the Grand Palais Ephémère from 25 to 27 May.
At this world-renowned event entirely dedicated to environmental protection, the Renault stand will be located in the area dedicated to the circular economy to showcase the company’s strategy in terms of decarbonisation, eco-design and recycling.
Topics that will be addressed in the round table ‘Rethinking Mobility and Transport’ scheduled for Thursday 25 May from 16.15 to 17.30 with the participation of David Holderbach, CEO of Hyvia.
On the same day, the conference ‘Can we still love cars?’ organized in partnership with Usbek & Rica and which on Thursday 25 May will see the presence alongside the various experts of Cléa Martinet, sustainable development director of the Renault Group.
For several decades, Groupe Renault has focused its decarbonisation policy on the entire life cycle of vehicles, including design, production, use and finally recycling. This commitment to contain the impact on the climate and on resources has made it possible to reduce the Group’s global carbon footprint by 25% between 2010 and 2022.
A result – reads the note – which puts the company on the right track to achieve the zero emissions goal in 2040 in Europe and by 2050 worldwide.
To act quickly and on all fronts of change, the Group has chosen a new organizational model made up of 5 teams active in the various strategic value chains and in collaboration with various partners.
Each team has its sustainable development goals and promotes the transformation of the Group to build the next generation automotive company, with a common vision: the mobility of the future must be low-carbon, responsible and safe, underpinned by the right innovation from an environmental and social point of view.
