Red Bull Moto Boost ‘runs’ at Messina University with Farioli

Great success for Red Bull Moto Boost, the challenge between engineering students from all over the world who share the fact that they are enrolled in Motostudent, the competition in which university students have to design, draw and build a racing prototype, running on petrol or with electric motor, respecting the Moto3 regulations. Red Bull Moto Boost, which was born from the collaboration between Red Bull Italy, Motostudent and Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, experienced one of the most important moments with the lecture held at the University of Messina, in the Aula Magna Andrea Donato of the Engineering Department. The speakers were Prof. Giacomo Risitano, Ph. D.

Associate Professor of Mechanical Design and Machine Construction and Alberto Tambini, Structural Analysis and Test Engineer of KTM.

Farioli, a very young rider from Bergamo who, after starting off in motocross, moved onto the asphalt, forging ahead until he made his debut in Moto3 in 2023 riding a Red Bull KTM Tech 3. “I’m really happy to be part of Red Bull Motoboost – Farioli said – is a great challenge for young people like me: I think it’s not every day you get the chance to put yourself to the test for such a stimulating project – added the rookie rider – I think it could represent a great opportunity for me too, because these meetings always open up new possibilities and ideas that will certainly come in handy for me in the future”.

The lecture in particular, open to all students of the Sicilian university, focused on the design and testing phase of structural components for use in the Motorsport field.
