Electric Fiat 600, debut as a star in the Gulf of Poets

Like a Hollywood star, the Fiat 600 is ready to dive with special effects from a swimming pool in the heart of the Gulf of Poets to markets around the world. After appearing on the street for the TV spot filmed in recent weeks in Rome, here she is once again in front of the cameras, for another exciting episode.
Italian tricolor on the bumper, the electric ‘e’ prominently displayed on the tailgate, this time the Italian five-door flies over the historic center of Lerici, touching the water with its wheels to color itself with vivacity.
Over a hundred people worked for five days to make this advertising short. For the occasion, a real swimming pool was built in the center of the Ligurian village, in Piazza Garibaldi. Two towers of aluminum tubes were erected where as many cameras were placed. A wheeled trolley was set up with twenty meters of track with a telescopic arm which reached with another camera at the car while it was suspended above the swimming pool. All enriched by views from the other captured with a drone.

For one day, then, the village was made more ‘countryside’ with colored clothes hanging on the balconies of the splendid historic buildings in the centre. In this film-like setting, a crane hoisted a gray Fiat 600 about thirty meters above the ground, for a very special flight and dive.
Sportier bodywork than the 500X, greater internal roominess, infotainment technology in step with the times, the Fiat 600 is a compact crossover with an advanced design but still clearly inspired by the legendary Cinquino. Its mechanics are of the latest generation and provide for the possibility of adopting different types of power supply. Expected for its official debut in a few weeks and soon on TV screens around the world, it was born, in fact, on the Stellantis group platform intended for compact vehicles. In dealerships it will immediately be electric, like the model used for the advertising campaign, shot by Twister Film.
