Ducati, born and raised in the Borgo Panigale district of Bologna and strongly rooted throughout the region, has dedicated itself to joining the “Aid for Emilia-Romagna” campaign by making a donation of 200,000 euros to the Civil Protection of the Region, which will use the funds received to support people and communities affected by the flood. The trade union representatives and employees have also taken action to donate an hour of their salary: the proceeds will be doubled by the company. “Witnessing what has happened in our Region in the last week has been a hard blow to the heart for all of us – says CEO Claudio Domenicali – This is home for us and we felt the need to find a way to help, by supporting with a donation of 200,000 euros the regional Civil Protection which in these days is coordinating, together with the competent authorities, the operations in the numerous cities affected”.
