Michelin has signed an agreement for the acquisition of Trk

Michelin adds Italy to its offer of connected services for fleets in Europe, with the acquisition of TRK. The company has in fact signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the capital of TRK, a fleet services provider in Italy. The operation is part of the global expansion of Michelin Connected Fleet which also includes the Americas, Africa and Oceania.
This strategic acquisition will accelerate the development of connected services and solutions for fleets of heavy vehicles, in the field of transport and logistics, as well as for light commercial vehicles in the field of last mile delivery, integrating services such as cold chain and electrification, in a key market such as Italy.
Michelin Connected Fleet is an advanced solution of services and connected solutions dedicated to fleets, designed to provide the tools and information fleet operators and managers need to easily manage their fleet on a daily basis, transform their operational efficiency and manage sustainable fleets.
The goal is to understand customers’ needs and provide them with quality and pragmatic solutions in the areas that matter most to them, such as reducing fleet management costs, increasing productivity, improving driver safety and vehicles, as well as the satisfaction of end customer expectations.
The acquisition of Trk will also allow the implementation of innovative service offers and solutions in the Italian market.
