The Milanese driver, just 18 years old, Leonardo Arduini took third place in the Challenger classification of both the European and Italian series in the Clio Cup Europe. “Conquering my first podium with the Clio on a track like Spa is something incomparable, if you then do it with 60 opponents all around you, it simply becomes a daydream! I only discovered Spa on Friday – commented Arduini – I had studied it on the simulator and this helped me a lot, but it’s a track that demands respect and I did things a little at a time”.
After the first two rounds, Arduini occupies the sixth position in the Italian championship and the fourth in the Italian Challenger Trophy.
Good results also in the European series, where the Milanese rookie is one step away from the absolute Top10 and occupies the Top6 of the Challenger Trophy. The Clio Cup Europe now moves to Hungary on the Hungaroring track.
