No construction sites on the A14 motorway during the summer, in the section between Pedaso and Vasto Sud. In fact, the plan to suspend construction sites for the modernization of the network in view of the summer exodus is already operational. From 06:00 today and until 22:00 on Monday 11 September, traffic will be guaranteed on all available lanes and in both directions. The goal, Autostrade per l’Italia informs in a note, is to facilitate the transits envisaged starting from the long weekend of 2 June, characterized by an increase in flows due to travel to tourist resorts and return to cities . The modernization activities, in line with the plan shared with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and with the local institutions, will resume in reduced mode and only during the night, on Tuesday 6 June and Wednesday 7 June. The suspension for the summer period, scheduled to coincide with the interruption of school activities, will in fact start from 06:00 on Thursday 8 June and will be maintained until 22:00 on Monday 11 September, during this period however interventions at night, with low traffic flows, from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am. The program of activities for the days of 6 and 7 June includes construction sites linked to the modernization plan exclusively during the night (from 22:00 to 06:00). During the daytime, on the other hand, interventions related to scheduled ordinary maintenance will be carried out, with no impact on the roadway, such as the renovation of horizontal signs and the mowing of green areas.
