The most evocative Jaguar gathering scheduled for Saturday 3 June on the Monza circuit is called 100+1: a symbolic tribute to the most representative cars of the brand that will parade on the Brianza red carpet but also on the circuit’s legendary banked bank, protagonist in the years of epic duels between champions of the caliber of Ascari, Fangio, Hill, Clark.
Eva Kant’s Jaguar E, companion of Diabolik and already protagonist of the comeback on the occasion of the events sponsored by La Rinascente in Milan and Rome with the actress Miriam Leone protagonist of the new film series, will be one of the stars of the fashion show whose heart will be represented by the return to the track of a “spearhead”, the 1964 Jaguar E Type Competizione driven by Gianluca Bardelli (winner of all the most important races of the Italian Historic Car Championship in the 1990s), flanked by two precious “valleys”, both recreation of the original racing cars: the E Lightweight of Alberto Scuro, president of ASI, and the E Low Drag of the Austrian Ralph Weibel.
It will also be an opportunity to celebrate the return to historic car competitions, at the wheel of the Jaguar E, of two great champions such as Pietro Silva and Gianluca Bardelli, opponents in the past and now co-drivers in the race.
The event is promoted by the Jaguar Enthusiast Club Italia chaired by Fabio Berardi who will present his Jaguar XK 150 Ots in Monza, formerly owned by Grace Kelly.
