With the acronym SV, the new Range Rover Sport becomes the most powerful and dynamic ever. Indeed, the new evolution of Range Rover Sport is a hymn to performance combined with Range Rover capabilities, refinement and reductive design embraced by the British company. Everything is thought out in terms of performance, including the technology that precedes the most advanced suspension system in its class. The SV version therefore stands at the top of the renewed range, supported by an aerodynamically enhanced design, revised aesthetics and functional choices of light and technical materials that reinforce its capabilities and high performance.
Under the bonnet beats only the mighty 4.4-litre Twin-Turbo Mhev V8 petrol engine, which delivers 635PS and 750Nm of torque, for 60PS and 50Nm more than the previous generation Range Rover Sport SVR Supercharged 5.0-litre V8 . Acceleration is worthy of a supercar, with 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, while top speed stops the needle at 290 km/h. On the other hand, CO2 emissions are 15 per cent lower than the 575 HP V8 of the previous model.
This exceptional performance is also made possible by a combination of features that allow weight savings of up to 76kg, including 23-inch carbon fiber wheels, carbon ceramic brakes (an option available for the first time on a Range Rover) and aerodynamics as standard, including a carbon fiber hood. In line with Range Rover’s philosophy of modern luxury, the new Range Rover Sport SV is initially reserved for selected customers globally, with SV Edition One specifications, each already assigned to a customer, representing a selection of the best combinations of features , colors and finishes.
Every Range Rover Sport SV Edition One features unique branding on the front splitter, center console, treadplates and door sill lamps. Geraldine Ingham, Range Rover managing director, said: “The new Range Rover Sport SV exemplifies the Range Rover philosophy, not only as a bold evolution from the previous Range Rover Sport SVR, but also in the personalized approach we are taking with our most demanding customers”. The Range Rover Sport range is available with prices starting from 97,900 euros, while the prices of the Range Rover Sport SV stand at 213,000 euros
