Motivating tomorrow’s automotive sector workers: this is the spirit with which the EinapLab Masterclass was held on 30 May in the great hall of the Veneto Regional Directorate of Enaip, and in streaming connection with 12 local offices, which saw the participation extraordinary by Marco “Bez” Bezzecchi, the rider who currently occupies the second position in the MotoGp world championship.
The Masterclasses are periodic appointments that represent an opportunity for students who attend courses organized by the ACLI institution for professional education, to deal with personalities and realities that can provide testimonials on the world of work linked to the study plans chosen by the students .
Roberto Scarabel also took part in the event, in the dual role of president of AsConAuto, the association that launched a regional project in collaboration with Enaip, which will soon have developments on a national scale, and the Scarabel Group, which has been present for half a century in the Triveneto area with a network of car and motorcycle dealerships. To the more than 550 students connected, Scarabel first of all reminded that the collaboration between AsConAuto and Enaip ensures the possibility for future protagonists of the automotive supply chain to become familiar with what tomorrow’s work will be. “We are serious about continuing our support, which will ideally allow us to count on the structures of more than 1,000 dealer members, who represent 90 percent of the national network, with 2,082 workshops and over 23,000 auto repairers. The joint AsConAuto-Enaip process will give great opportunities. In this time of scarce resources we can make workshops nationwide available to learn, offering all the latest technology”.
Idol of most of those present, Marco Bezzecchi wanted to underline that he in turn graduated from a professional institute, even if it was not easy to reconcile study with international sporting commitment. But he did it thanks to the help of teachers who understood the situation and gave him a hand. “However, don’t think that our job is just to ride motorcycles; driving is the least demanding and most enjoyable part of the job, but you also need other knowledge to do everything. The English language and the ability to read telemetry, for example , are fundamental. Without forgetting that the rules must be respected and that knowing how to build a strategy is of great help, also because it allows you to prepare a backup plan if things don’t go as they should”.
“Never forget – concluded Scarabel – that we need new professional skills, which only school can train. And remaining in the field of metaphors, we dealers can offer prairies on which to run, in the form of opportunities to create your future. We can provide all the motivation you need, but you will have to put all your skills into play”.
