During the next edition of the 1000 Miglia, which will cross the roads of the peninsula from 13 to 17 June, Mercedes-Benz Classic will field two 300 SL (W 198) and a Mercedes-Benz SS (Super-Sport) in the regularity race. The house of the star will also take part in the 1000 Miglia Green, dedicated to vehicles with alternative propulsion, with the Vision Eqxx, in addition to the Eqs and the Eqe Suv.
Past and future come together thanks to the 300 SL gullwing, author of a triple victory at the 1955 Mille Miglia in its category, and the Vision Eqx prototype, boasting an autonomy of over 1,202 kilometers, consumption of less than 10 kWh /100 km, and a Cx of 0.17. “Automotive icons of the past will meet electric icons of the future – said Ola Källenius, Chairman of the Management Board of Mercedes-Benz Group Ag – in this way we once again reaffirm our clear commitment to sustainability, electrification and a future completely electric”.
