Stock Exchange: Milan rises (+ 1.8%), uncertain banks, industry is doing well

(ANSA) – MILAN, FEBRUARY 09 – Earnings rise in Piazza Affari (+ 1.8%), where Banco Bpm remains at the top of the main list (+ 5.8%), the day after the accounts, while those of Bper (-2.4%) had the opposite effect on the stock. Mediobanca earns something (+ 0.4%) on the day of the half-yearly report. Paytech Nexi rose sharply (+ 3.1%). Other banks are less convinced, such as Uncredit, flat, Intesa (+ 0.4%) and Fineco (-0.2%), which is waiting for the accounts. The BTP-Bund spread rose slightly to 155.9 points and the Italian 10-year yield to 1.768%.

Stellantis is running (+ 3.6%) among cars and Ferrari is also doing well (+ 2.4%), with gains for Exor (+ 3%). In industry Amplifon (+ 3.2%), Cementir (+ 3%), Prysmian (+ 2.4%), among the Stm semiconductors (+ 3%) stand out. Oil was doing well, from Saipem (+ 1.8%) to Tenaris plants (+ 1.9%) and Eni also changed sign (+ 1.4%), while crude oil is almost flat (-0.06 %) at 89.3 dollars a barrel and brent at 90.7 dollars. Istat data on industrial production in December meanwhile sanctioned a -1% for the month, but a + 4.4% for the year. Among the stocks that earn there are Poste (+ 2.3%), among the utilities Enel (+ 2%) and Italgas (+ 2.1%), strong throughout Europe.
