(ANSA) – MILAN, FEBRUARY 16 – Milan confirms the increases in the opening after the first trades with the Ftse Mib index which advances by 0.3%, aligning itself with the mood of cautious optimism that reigns on all the exchanges of the Old Continent , where investors look favorably on diplomatic work underway to avert a war in Ukraine.

In Piazza Affari, Prysmian (+ 3.2%), Tenaris (+ 2.3%), Leonardo (+ 1.4%), and Stellantis (+ 1.3%) stand out. Among bankers, Bper’s run continues (+ 2.4%), after the acquisition of Carige, while Banco Bpm (-3%) slips with Unicredit (-0.9%) which for the moment seems to have frozen the idea of a takeover bid.
